Annoying Notifaction Bar

Today i noticed in my status bar red circles over some of my icons with numbers on them. Obviously this is grouping notifactions together to let me know how many there are... but how do i get rid of it? Thanks for any help

I'm assuming you don't mean by pulling the bar down and pressing the clear button.

There is no way to get rid of that particular feature as it's coded into the OS.

I got you. I never noticed it before... but i did just realize it was doing that to facbook only which now has PUSH... anyways thats lame but hey whatcha gunna do
