I don't think you can disable many of the built in Verizon apps. Correct me if I am wrong, but don't you have to have the VVM feature turned ON on your account page on Verizon's website? Have you looked there to see if you are signed up for the free VVM that comes with Advance Calling? Maybe it can be completely disabled there? At least that's how we had to enable the free VVM when it first came out last October. But things may have changed since then.
Actually, you can disable quite a few. But not VVM.
Regardless, the ideal solution here is to follow the prompts on the phone to enable the feature, and then don't use it. It hurts nothing. It doesn't even use your data if you never click on it.
