Last week at symphony rehearsal I see the guy next to me has a tuning app on his iPod touch. I ask him what the name of it is. Then I do a quick search on Android Market, find the app has been ported to Android, and download and install it right there in front of him.
Unfortunately, this $3 app has made my previous $40 stand-alone tuner obsolete.

not sure how this story turned out but 2 days ago at work I was showing someone how the buzz thing worked. I zoomed out on my location until a bubble showed up. It was on top of a nearby mall. Checking out the buzz it said:
my boss is a blankety blanking darn tooting blankety blank.
It had the posters name, face and underneath said for the location Nordstroms.
We really wanted to call the store and see if she worked there and tell her we saw her buzz but never bothered. Either she wasn't too smart in posting that or she wasn't too smart in her choice of friends she left around her untended phone.
its kind of like a new thing from google https://www.google.com/buzz
in my terms, its almost like a twitter/facebook kinda thing
its quite interesting in my opinion tho
