Another K9 Question

Ok, when I receive an email I get the notification. I go into K9 and read the message. I then delete the message. After I close K9 I get another notification I open my notification bar and it says 0 unread mail. Why do I get the notification every time I close K9? Just rather annoying. I am hoping I have a setting off or something.

Not sure if it matters but I also use K9 email pop up.

Not an answer to your question, but I get that sometimes with the default email app. It's really annoying and I wish I could figure out why.

POP3 does not work right. You are not the only ones with these problems. Check the sig and star the issue.

Not sure if it matters but I also use K9 email pop up.

My guess would be that this is the cause. The Popup notifies you, and you go to view the mail. When you are done, the Popup notifier finally releases, and then (and only then) K9 makes its actual announcement.

But that is only a guess based on... I don't have that problem with K9 and I don't use the e-mail popup notification
