Any info when we get our update for SD card

The Android 3.1 update currently being rolled out in Europe activates the SD card. No word on when Motorola will see fit to enable US versions.

Motorola have however convinced me to NEVER buy a motorola product again since they have proved themselves to be indifferent to customers.

Motorola Fails U.S. Xoom Owners Yet Again

I am mystified as to how Xoom owners are putting up with all of the nonsense spewed their way from Motorola. Every single day it seems like there is another mishap and today is no different. You see, Motorola rolled out Android 3.1 to Xooms outside of the United States and lo and behold, Motorola somehow manged to infuriate Xoom owners here in the U.S. Again.

Agreed. It is ridiculous how they are handling this. And I don't mean only that they don't have SD card support yet available for us US Xoomers, I am more referring to the way they are communicating with their customer base... I mean, not communicating. Extreme sense of disrespect for their customer base.

I read somewhere where 3.2 activates the sd card portion of the xoom but only as read only, i will post the link once I find it.

I was able to put my SD card in from my phone and mount it but couldn't figure out how to copy them to the xoom. It just let me view them. When removed the folder is still there but no pictures.

Yeah I think it's because it's Read Only... Way to go Xoom, try to appease the masses by giving ups the SD card support but way to dork it up by not giving us full access to it...
