Any RC fans here

Dang, I guess I'm late to this party. Started with a "Frog" years ago. Yes you had to buy a Frog for a motor, it was Flintstones style. Then every decade or so bad to try the latest offerings from the RC gods. Bought a Tmaxx and was hooked again. Threw more money at it than anyone thought possible. Then the Nexus 30 heli. A couple more all wheel drive cars. Everything nitro. Then a slash, and electric helis.

I've got a 3.3 T maxx and a 3.3 slash 2wd. Love both of them

Yup, had to stuff a big block into the Tmaxx. Wheelies for days, or just flip itself on its back.

The thing that really annoyed me was Traxx's using Cubic inches instead of staying with the CC standard in the industry. Their 3.0 was an 18 and I would stand in line at the HS arguing to some kid that indeed my 21 was bigger than his 3.0.

What did you put in it that's bigger? I've been thinking I want to go bigger with the T maxx

OS 21. Tried the 18s, megatech comes to mind, junk. The 3.3 is a 20 not sure if it is a small block still or a big block. The OS 21 is available with pretty much any configuration needed. Pull start, starter box start. Cranks. Etc. Best HP and RPMs. If indeed the 3.3 is a small block you'll need a big block motor mount. Pretty cheap.

Just checked, OS makes a model specific for the Tmaxx. Just remember on a 2 stroke the power is adjustable with the pipe/expansion chamber. A good designed pipe kicks butt.

I haven't seen much in the market for pipes for the T maxx. Haven't looked real hard either though.

I ran it Saturday for the first time in a while and it ran very well. I just need to get a new ez start for it. Mine is in need of new gears real bad.

I need a new tank for the slash also as the lid doesn't seal tight and it leaks all over in bumpy conditions.

The pipes for nitro motors are slim pickings nowadays. Electrics dominate. For 500-600 a OS gold with matched pipe. About 3.5 HP. That should work.

I forgot all about this thread. A lot of updates.

Blew up the T Maxx 3.3 Ordering an OS replacement I think.

Got an entry level plane. Flew it once into a pine tree..

Okay, the car is dirty. Can't see any wires though. Bluetooth, lol. And a Nexus 30.

What engine is on that? I can't say I've seen an all BT setup like that.... Didn't know it existed... What does it do to battery life?

OS 21 with a pull starter. BT, just yanking your chain. all the wires are pretty much hidden.
Lol. Once I started Google get it I realized that. I've been pretty big into it and had never heard of it.

I think I'm ordering the 21. How's it compare to the Traxxas 3.3?
