Anybody Else Out There That Loves Their Bionic?

Had the Bionic on launch day. Could not get it activated after 4 SIMS and numerous call and visits to the store. Gave up and took it back. Got the RAZR on launch day and it just wasn't for me. So I gave the Bionic another shot. My original plan was to "rent" it until the first of the year and get the Galaxy Nexus. But gotta admit I have become really attached to the Bionic. The screen looks great. It is zippy as all whatnot. And outside of the data drop I have had zero issues. Gonna be a hard decision now.

same boat... it's growing on me... like a car or something :)

While on endomondo - it was 3g, as was the long day of battery life with music only. I've noticed issues switching between 3G and 4G, where apps will say 'no network' - so I'm awaiting the OTA update that will hopefully address that issue.

Still luv'n the Bionic, just wish this ota would show up, would luv it even more. Wife is getting tired hearing "I wonder where the hell that ota is" every day :disappointed:

Awesome phone!!! Meets my needs and wants - I'm on the road a lot and the Bionic helps me be effecient. I'm still tapping into its potential.

Other than the same battery life problems that plague all LTE phones I've been very happy with mine. Increase in data speed makes up for it though, I just either have to run the bulky extended battery or switch batteries halfway through the day. Have both options, so it's not a big deal.

Ditto, except I would add disappointment with the camera.

Beats is a gimmick, and trust me I've used the heck out of both phones. Now, the headphones that come with it are ok... I know there are better Beats headphones out there.

That is the whole gimmick with the Rezound. It comes with a pair of $100 iBeats headphones. Supposedly, the "beats" EQ settings are optimized for the iBeats.

Like you say there are better Beats headphones out there. As a matter of fact, iBeats are the low end model. The biggest concern I have is that normally, for audiophile equipment, they will provide specs such as frequency range. I can find no such info for these headphones. We're talking info that you can find on the package of a pair of $12 SONYs. I fear these are all about the lows, with no concern for midrange or highs.

Ditto, except I would add disappointment with the camera.

If there's anything i've learned after using Motorola devices since the v710 flip phone, it's the fact that if you want a top-end phone camera, don't get a Motorola. Motos will take pics, but you won't be wowed.

The having been said, my Bionic takes perfectly servicable pictures for my needs. It's not an intuitive camera, you actually have to learn to use it. Such are the disadvantages of not having a dedicated 2-step camera key.

The .901 update has made the camera much faster.
