Anybody gone to larger sd cards?

App2SD is a good app for moving apps to the sd card.

Does it slow it down more than any other app on the SD card?

I try to keep my non-SD memory available for caching and such. I've been treating it as RAM vs HDD would be on a computer. Is there a better way?
