anyone else try a jb rom, and go back to an ics because of the lack of features?

Turned off the same background syncs I did with the ICS ROMs, and so far codename android is the only one with good battery life I've tried.

My battery life has been on par with ics. But i do have to question you trying every rom. These devs been pumping out a new rom like every week and there are at least 10 different rom devs or more. I can't keep up. Heck our crackflashers cant even keep up and they flash a different rom every day and sometimes multiple times a day.
As far as battery life i get about 8+ hours of moderate to hard use. But i have two extended batteries. I do admit i envy razr maxx users battery life. But i make do just fine.

it's not just the lack of features (i'm running aokp m6 right now, which of course has a TON of features), it's also the fact that some of my paid apps wouldn't work right with jb.

once jb roms get some features, and apps are compatible, i'll definitely switch to it.

in response to a post above, i tried jb sourcery, nice rom, but still lacks 95% of the ics features i like lol

If you're still having trouble with purchased apps showing as not purchased in the Play Store, try wiping the play store data from settings > apps > all. I haven't had to do this with the most recent JB ROMs but I did on several earlier JB builds and it made everything regarding the play store work perfectly.

yeah this codename android one is good to go on battery life. i did clean wipes (including factory resets) between flashes too.

hmmm, thanks for the heads up, i'll do that

Zombie apocalypse you say? Please do elaborate. Where might I find this?

I am not sure which theme he is referring to but on our JB Rom currently we just have the T-Mobile theme engine with all of its theme options. Sourcery Theme Manager is there and fully functional but no themes have been ported over yet. We will have all of our exclusive themes ready as soon as we move out of beta and into full release.

I'm sure you know that but in case anyone else is wondering how to get that theme to work after you download it from the Play Store you just go into the Theme Engine through Sourcery Toolbox and select it.

Zombie apocalypse, I may have to check it out.
