At 7:53AM eastern, when I try to check for a new software update the process gets stuck on "checking for new...". Maybe they have it down to prime the pump?

The leak document did not have a time for the push, just the date. The pull column had the 11:59PM EST and date 5/9.

So it would be that they would start pushing to groups sometime today and at 11:59PM people will be able to check for updates and allowed to pull it down.

I helped my sis get the latest ICS leak. I have a gnex and am quite familiar with flashing it. However when the OTA comes can she get it and if not what will she need to do to get it?

If you load one of the ICS leaks, we have no idea how to get to the OTA because we don't know what version it will be etc... So if you definitely want her on the OTA then don't do anything yet.
