Anyone Recieve The OTA Yet?

I so I called VZW and the nice lady could not find anything about an upgrade for the Rezound. She did see a new release for the HTC Thunderbolt for today. Well that leaked document listed a minor update for the Thunderbolt for today! Go figure, maybe the Rezound WAS scheduled and the "Was Delayed two weeks" has credibility!

Nope. Not with this one.

The one from last week supposedly had radio and SMS issues. I have not tried SMS yet but my data speeds and connections are fine if not better.

I got tired of waiting and installed the Release Candidate from earlier this week.

I am glad I did. ICS is pretty sweet. Come on in...the water's fine.

I know this question has been asked alot. But I am stock, locked and not rooted. Can I install the leaked version and still get the ota whenever it comes out? Or will I have to do something in order to revert back to get the ota whenever that comes out? Thanks

The answer is...probably. But we are not absolutely sure. So proceed at your own risk.

The OTA will probably be very similar to this anyway, so even if you can't "upgrade" to it, it is doubtful you are actually missing anything.

Reverting back to complete stock will be a very involved process (involving getting S-Off). So if it comes to that, it might get annoying for you. It's a lot easier to mess up the bed than to make it again.

I will give it try today and report back. So far I have read nothing but awesome reviews about this leak. Does this leak correct the keyboard lag like on the stock gb? I remember getting a lot of keyboard lag and I had to download ice cream sandwich keyboard and it corrected the keyboard lag but the spell check kind of sucks on it. Thanks for answering back.

So tempting!

Man this is tempting!

VZW just upgraded me to this after almost 6 replacement MOTO POS phones that kept rebooting! I have a stable phone for the first time in 18 months so I am not going to touch it until it is OTA! It looks very sweet though and I cant wait!

I wish they would just give us a hint as to when it is coming.

My guess is that it is very close, considering all these leaks (intentional leaks I imagine). I can hear them say "It is like an unorganized soak, just read all the forum feedback, oh and if they brick it we arent responsible":happy3: LOL.

If you are in doubt, I would say wait.

But remember...this is not a custom ROM cobbled together by private users. This is an actual release candidate created by the people who made what you are using right now. This was already intended for release OTA. It just wasn't released because they wanted to polish it more.

But this is an actual stock update. Complete with bloatware and everything.

You mention the Bloatware and make it even more tempting :p
