Anyone worried about the 3 year old GPU, no sd-card slot, lack of removable battery?

It has a removeable battery!! Makes me wonder if you guys ever look at the pictures on Engadget.com !

http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2011/10/samsunggalaxynexushandson6445.jpg

They even said the NFC was somehow linked to an antenna in the battery (wonder if that makes the battery more expensive).

It looks like there are two slots in the back, one for 4G sim, could the other be for SD?

It's been confirmed that the Galaxy N does NOT have the ability to use a memory card. Good thought about the price of the battery though, I bet they're going to be pricy.

yep i was wrong, the Nexus S has no SD slot, but has clockwork. i assume the internal is partitioned. It still concerns me to have only one storage feature. Not sure if there are any issues on the Nexus S as I've never messed with one.

The gpu is pretty much my ONLY concern. Lack of bluetooth 4.0 seemed weird to me too... Even the moto fitness watch has it lol

I'm not too worried about the camera after seeing it in action. Wonderful :p

that would be the deal breaker for me.....
dont worry about it...its been discussed.
Nexus S only has internal storage and is completely hackable.
also, my HP touchpad only has internal storage and has Clockwork MOD and CM7 installed on it.
if the devs can put android on a product never ment to run android, they wont have an issue getting CWMR and custom ROMs on it.

what's the gpu on the razr?

also saw at engadget that's it's just super amoled not plus (unlike the gs2). wtf!!!

I read that as well. All I can say is, the numbers and terms and their seeming interchangeability is making me numb to the marketing hype.

I just want to see the end product and if it performs better than the other options, for the purposes for which I will use it, I will buy it.

In one phone, pentile "sucks ass", and another phone has the "best" screen yet then turns out to be,,,,, pentile!!

Whatever. I will see and then buy.

What will anyone be doing on their phones that needs a super speedy GPU?

My D3 uses the same one as the Galaxy Nexus, and it's never been a problem. Even when playing FPS games and N64 Emulators, there is no lag.

And isn't the GNex supposed to "utilize" both cores very well? So wouldn't it be even faster? lol

The 5mp spec is a feature not detriment if you read between the lines. There is a reason that high end DSLRs often have a lower pixel count than some point and shoots.

I was stoked when I first read they were going with a lower pixel count because I knew it meant they were going with a higher quality sensor. What good are a bunch of extra pixels if they are inaccurate?

My DROID X is 8mp and my old 5mp Canon point and shoot takes WAY better pictures. Its not even close. Phone makers should have gone this direction a long time ago but instead chose to give idiot consumers what they THINK they want which so far has meant focusing on meaningless high MP counts.

^Good stuff! I am big on photography (paid big bucks for a DSLR and pro glass) and this is the camera I would want on my phone.
