Anyway to block text messages from specific numbers on Verizon S7's?

What carrier do you have?What is it doing? I click the second icon up top. Calls and texts are blocked.

Well I just blocked him on the verizon site. The block expires after 90 days though. Can I reblock the number after that expiration??

as @radon222 stated in their message in the previous, yes you'll have to renew it every 90 days.
I never used the default messaging app on my s7 and neither do I now with my Pixel. I use Textra (which I personally find to be better), and there is a blacklist option for text messages.
