I remember hearing about an app like this, but I can't seem to find it. I hate having to connect my phone to my pc via usb whenever I want to transfer stuff over.

use ftp server

FTP server is an app that allows you to use an FTP client on your desktop system for upload and download. very handy. You can also setup ftp virtual drives.

this is the option that i use as well. on the pc-side of things, i use netdrive (should be free) to setup the connection to the FTP server app on the phone.

If your computer has bluetooth, you can use Bluetooth File Transfer.

Use it to and from my Macbook pro with no problems.
