Apps not showing up in drawer

Trying to help my boss out, he has a droid 2, and everytime he dl's a new app it wont show up in his app drawer until he does a reboot. Any ideas? I know sync is enabled he has no problems getting gmail pushed.

Sorry, no solution but perhaps he should try a hard reset. Its under settings, privacy. Try to back-up important stuff, but Google already will back up/restore contacts and many other things after its done.

Restart the launcher.

Settings --> Manage Applications --> All --> Launcher --> Force Stop.

Then hit the home button. It should fart and fuddle for a few seconds and go back to the home screen. Check the app drawer to see if the new app is there.
