Apps YOU want to see developed

Like to have an app that would allow sms text messages to be saved.

I know the other guys said that they're saved automatically... but I have an app that backs up all your SMS's at a scheduled time (no MMS though) every day and you can do manual saves as well. And if your messaging program ever just up and takes a crap on you (mine actually did 2 days after i got this app! lucky me! ), it's got a resort backup and you can choose from any date backup that you like.

I haven't done a very thorough search (Just a quick search and i tried a few apps, but none were paid... so that could be my problem?) so forgive me if this exists...

but I'd like to see a reliable LED color assigner program and let it choose by specific program the color as well as the blink rate. I've found some, but sometimes they work sometimes they don't and i'm not sure if it's the Droid's LED itself, but the colors are pretty limited in choice (call me a noob on that one if you want.... cuz I am )

I would love an app for playing music, but without the album art. I use my phone all the time in my vehicle with my Bluetooth stereo. But I can't always see which song i'm listening to because the font is so small to make room for the album art. I have several live concert recordings that I listen to, and I like to know which city i'm listening to. So if anyone knows of or wants to make an app with just artist, song, and album with very nice large font I would be so grateful.

This should be an easy one...

An app that keeps track of cost when eating at a Conveyor-style sushi restaurant. You can assign 5 or 6 different plate colors for the various prices (i.e. Green plate = $2.50; blue plate = $3.50, gold plate = $5.00, etc). Then as you're eating and stacking up the plates, you tap the plate graphic on your droid and it keeps a count and totals what your bill will be. Being able to calculate tax and add drinks and a la cart items would be a plus.

Apps For Sewing Patterns/sewing/quilting

Would like to see an app that maybe uses something like Goggles to scan the bar code or the number/company of the sewing pattern. Then the pattern info could be accessed like yardage etc.
Also some of the cool Ipod/iphone apps for sewing and quilting.Like the one where you pick a pic of a quilt block pattern and then you tell it how big and it tells you how many of each shape/color to cut and in what size. Also a backing calculator for quilts where you enter in the size of the quilt and the width of the backing material and tell it how much you want it tohang over and it tells you how much yardage to buy.:icon_ banana:

a genuine ad blocker for the browser

now that I have froyo with flash, i REALLY want an ad blocker that prevents scripts from running when I visit websites. to be clear: not to block AdMob or other monetizing ads, but ads hosted on websites

Dolphin HD's adblocker lets it all load, then a minute later whites it all out. kind of a waste of time and doesn't speed browsing. I wonder how much bandwidth is being chewed up by ads.

anyway, the person who designs that app will be RICH. :beer2:

I would like to see an app developed that acts like Google Goggles scanning business cards and autopopulating your contacts. However, I would like the app to be able to scan a form and autopopulate a spreadsheet like google doc spreadsheet. That would be incredible!!!
