Yeah, it's way better to drink the Android Kool-Aid rather than actually use your brain, make a comparisson and call a spade a spade, huh?

Sounds like a matter of opinion. As we've stated in this thread before, no one is forcing you to use an Android phone. If you prefer iOS and the Iphone, please feel free to rejoin the Apple cult

Not all apps are safe but like others have said, watch what permissions your giving to certain apps. If they don't need it yet ask for it don't install it or email the dev and ask why it needs that permission.

If an app has 50000+ downloads its safe, even less than that its usually safe. Always read the comments if your unsure about an app.

But really just be smart and you'll be just fine

The entire thread is a matter of opinion. Most threads are. As the OP, I asked for opinions. Problem with that?
Why are you so defensive? Did you design Android? No? So what's the problem? You wrote a big fat check like everyone else, why be so proud of an electronic device?
Android was absolutely designed to compete with Apple. This is a fact, not opinion. Do you think it's simply a coincidence these technologies are so similar? So I have stated fact, not opinion.
Furthermore, It is obvious Apple's market is safer than Androids. A couple of posters here even commented regarding this. Another fact, no opinion.
So who is posting opinion?
You remain defensive and are obviously an Apple hater, which as mentioned previously is humerous to me and out of place in this thread. Anyone who can read can see this was not a pro Apple post nor an Android sucks thread so why not give it a break, OK?
