Are you running the .215 Leak on your Razr or Maxx?

thanks so much i will have to try that. i am running 4.04 i think i am good to run the leak.i am having touch issues with my phone. thing goes nuts and its less than a month old. goes everywhere you scroll up it zooms out and zooms in when you scroll down. you push the 5 you end the call. so on and so forth.
Here is a recommendation...you DON'T have to do this to have a successful install of .215 leak. But, if you are having issues with your phone it might help alot. Before installing .215 do a factory reset. Yes, you will have to re-install the third party apps that you downloaded (your pics, videos and such will be safe if you have them on your EXTERNAL sdcard). Starting from a clean system is always worth it. After the factory reset just follow MattyP's instructions. Again, you don't have to do the factory reset to have a successful install of .215.

Whoa, that explains why you were talking to Verizon, lol. I'm not sure if the leak is going to fix those problems but it won't hurt. No wonder you hate the phone. Have you tried doing a factory data reset (fdr). That will return your phone to like new. You can do the fdr before or after you install the .215 leak.

If you want to try an fdr, you will want to backup/save stuff on your phone because it will erase everything. I can point you to a thread that gives you ideas for backing up and doing an fdr.

If you do an fdr and still have problems then you may have to get a warranty replacement. Your phone should not be doing those things.

I had similar issues with my Og DROID. It turned out to be the digitizer. That's a hardware issue. Replacement is the only fix I think. Good luck.

You're right about that. But if he takes the phone to Verizon, 9 out of 10 times they will do a factory reset before they do anything else. So, doing one before he gets to Verizon, and assuming it is not the digitizer, might save him some time and trouble...let's hope anyway.

yes omg i was on the phone with them for like 2 hours today. they are sending me another phone as this will now make 3 in under a month. i did that thing that shows you the white dots if something is touching your screen and i was good there. i have done a fdr to no avail. i just pretty much reset it everyday.

If they are sending you a new phone then do not install the leak .215. Just put up with the phone you have until the new one get there. If you install the leak .215 and then return the phone with .215 on it then you could be in for a warranty issue with Verizon...and a subsequent bill from them. Good Luck with the new phone.

yes i was going to wait. thanks so much i really appreciate the help. i just have this gut feeling im gonna have the same issue with this phone too. i really miss my gs2.

No way you're gonna have the same issues. But if you have any problems we're here to help. Once you get your new phone, make sure it is upgraded to ICS and then go for the .215 leak.
