Are you using Touch-Wiz or something else?

I've been using Nova Launcher now for a little while and I don't see a change in performance, CPU usage, or battery. I do like having 5 rows instead of 4 and having a landscape screen when I turn my phone horizontally. For me, that's really the only difference and reason I prefer Nova.

I have been running TW... while I have also installed APEX and began setting it up... takes some time to get things where I like them... I have used LP and GO, so I hope Apex is just as good or even better. I went with Apex based on findings from looking around all types of forums on different launchers. I need the scrolling Dock haha

I've been using touchwiz and really liking it so far. I'm coming from a thunderbolt and hated sense.

I'm actually still using launcher pro. I tried a couple others, but they wouldn't go into landscape mode (need that for the car).

Is there a current launcher that does landscape?

Go Launcher does landscape mode. I used Launcher Pro for a long time and was hesitant to switch, but Go Launcher is way ahead of Launcher Pro (which hasn't seen any updates in over a year) in the way of features. There are also a lot of great themes out there for it.

I'm getting bored with the same old rows of icons for everything. Are there any launchers out there that are more creative in this respect?

SS Launcher seems a bit weird. I really don't want to go with a tile-based launcher like Windows Phone 7, though. How about SPB Shell or TSF Shell? Any other ideas?

Just added Apex. Haven't tried any others outside of stock TouchWiz. TREMENDOUS difference! Touchwiz just looks cheesy out of the box. Apex fixed that up immediatley. First impressions are that it has some nice customizations available. I suppose just a theme pack would've sufficed, but like the initial look of Apex. It's like going from VGA to HD.

Vmax, how did you get launcher pro to work? I used it (and loved it) on my X, but it crashes on the GS3. I've d/l'd it from the PlayStore (to make sure I have the latest & greatest but no joy.

Mine worked without any modifications. I just installed, hit the home button and selected launcher pro.

Yeah, I read on another forum that it seems to be the Calendar widget that crashes LPP.. Which was the main reason I bought Lpp.

Hopefully the dev will work out the bugs.

It's been over a year since there's been any updates to Launcher Pro, so I wouldn't hold my breath.
