Armband Case (exercise purposes)

Yea, I can understand that then.

Public gym stuff gets stolen all the time... Either way I am looking at getting some bluetooth headphones to eliminate the wires, so good call on that.

The moto m9 are pretty cheap now, but I don't think they will fit right

I looked at the Motos and the RocketFish ones at Best Buy. After reading the Amazon reviews of both, I went with the RocketFish. They fit securely and are well balanced, take calls easily and everything. They probably won't fit well if you have a larger head though.

This thing weighs a ton. If you're running long distance, you're probably not going to use a Droid as your media device.

I run long distance and quite often and I don't mind wearing the Droid one bit. It's not THAT heavy. I use the armband pictured earlier in this thread, too. It just barely (meaning not quite) fits with the Seidio case. Listen to Pandora, run Buddy Runner to track time and distance, and answer calls on the go.

I just found one at the New Balance store... Fits my Droid with the body glove case one it...

I would like to know more about this product. Do you have a model number or even a link to it online, somewhere?

I have the S9 as well, work great, havent run with them yet, too cold here in Nebraska, only the elliptical so far and they have stayed on just fine.

While looking around I located this armband at amazon:
Amazon.com: Sportband case for Ipod Video/Mp3/Cell phone,Navy Blue: Electronics

it looks promising, the phone is covered and cant get to the buttons, doesnt matter for me because i use the Moto S9 and just use the installed buttons.

and only $2.80, good deal

I have a Siedio Innocase that I refuse to take off, so I have to be picky when lookin for these armbands

I got this one:

Sportline: Fitness Gear: 860 Reflective Sport Armband (designed for iPods)

at Wal-Mart (B&M, not online) for about $8.00 a while ago for my previous phone. It fits the Droid pretty well...better than the phone I bought it for did. The top is rounded and the Droid is square, so the corners of the Droid poke out just a little. I wouldn't pay the $20 shown on the manufacturer website, but well worth $8 I figure.

Not sure about jogging, but at least it's easy to return stuff at Wal-Mart if it doesn't work out for you. IIRC, the packaging was such that you could take it out and give it a test fit at the store, too. Definitely great for walking, hiking, etc. I actually use it when I'm doing housework as I don't always have pockets to put the phone in.

That looks like a good one since it will like fit the Droid with or w/o a case.

How is it thus far?

I'm curious about that, because I don't know if it does really fit the Droid well with or without a case. The specs say an iPhone or any device up to 4.5" long. The Droid is about 4.59" long without a case. With a case, I think it will certainly be a cram job, and it may not even fit well without.

Hmm

I will probably buy that Belkin Dualfit because how slim it looks, less bulk is best I say.

For headphones I highly suggest the MOTOROKR s305 it is pretty much the best headset I could find. For the :motdroidhoriz: it is perfect due to the :motdroidhoriz:'s great sound output.

I can run, do warm-ups, which can include forward and reverse rolls, this headset stays on tight and comfortably.

Once you get these paired it's like they were made for one another! Beware it can almost get too loud! I suggest turning the :motdroidhoriz:'s volume up all the way, then using the volume controls on the headset. The Buttons get some taking used to, but after a few uses you should get it down!

I'm with the guy who has the Sansa Clip. I've had one for years as my music player of choice for anything active. Beat up and dropped over a thousand times, its still going strong. My Ipod woulda been dead already. I don't even bring my phone into the gym with me. You can get a clip for less than most of these arm bands fyi

I tried the Belkin while in a local Target....It was waaay too tight for my liking. Snug is cool, but that was a bit much.

Also the strap was too small for my arms.

Still looking
