If the terms are new to you, then you're stock. There are plenty of threads on this board that explain rooting in better terms than I could here.

Unfortunately, that means I'm stumped as to why you can't create folders though. Hopefully one of the power posters here (HookBill, you reading?) will notice the activity in this thread and pipe in with some wisdom...
