Got a letter today about the new deductible and price....

I'm thinking it is a waste of money........

Am I wrong on this , what are your opinions ?

One more thing to ponder in your decision Abby is what phone brand are you going to stick with. I was paying the insurance on my kid's phones; both Moto X 2014's. Then one dropped her phone & shattered the screen. $100 deductible through Assurion to get a refurbished phone or $150 for Moto to send me a Motorola refurbished phone with the exact same custom Moto maker options. I went with the Moto option and had the new phone on my doorstep within 4 days. I cancelled my insurance the next day and within a few months my other daughter broke her screen. Same deal...$150 for a new phone with all custom options delivered right to my house within a few days. Sometimes saving the insurance money and paying the manufacturer to fix a broken phone is a better deal; depending on what phone it is and if that manufacturer has a repair policy.

For that price, I'd just cancel insurance and pocket the money. You can buy another MAXX off Swappa for the same price or cheaper than the deductible.
