Because Sprint can't survive on its own now, it is too small against two behemoths. Verizon will acquire sprint, and the monopolization of wireless will be complete.

Won't happen as I outlined in my previous posts. Even if AT&T's acquisition is allowed they won't let Verizon follow. But you are right about Sprint losing it's small man competition, kinda like major leagues and minor leagues with 2 teams on each, but then one of the minors gets upgraded. All the sudden the remaining minor has no one else to play with.

Verizon hasn't publicly said anything, which means imo that it doesn't think it has a chance of influencing the proceedings.
