Right. We lose the custom colors..and you lose a huge battery, a bigger display, the Kevlar and stout feel(sorry, plastic isn't my thing

Actually they do make clear cases. My niece just got one of those pink iphone5Cs and got a clear case so you can still see the color of the phone.
I still prefer my Droid Maxx in my purple Otterbox Defender Case. With all the different cases out there, a colored phone really isn't necessary anymore.

I know, I made the mistake of buying the Griffin Reveal case. The back scratched up too damn quick!
