I'm not familiar with "quick settings", I assume that is something from the market. I found today while playing around that if you long hold a blank area of the home screen and bring up the "add" menu there is a power settings widget that allows one touch toggle on/off of wifi, gps, sync, brightness and bluetooth.
Now, its a big icon, filling an entire row on one screen, but it works just like any of the programs I've seen recommended in the market.

Yesterday was my heaviest use. When I plugged it in last night, time since last charge was 18 hours 36 minutes and I had 60% left. I'm digging this!I got my Droid about 5 days ago, coming from the Eris, and there is a major difference for me. I use it the same as I used the Eris and haven't hit 50% yet. I was charging my Eris twice a day.
