Well... The other school of thought is "don't baby the battery. You'll just trade the phone off in 18 months. You can get the batt replaced for 50 bucks at motorola".
I'm not saying Moto will do this for our Turbos. I'm not saying you should even think about pinning your hopes on this, but:
My last phone, the RAZR HD, battery life was awful after we got Kit Kat. Phone was right around 18 months old. I contacted Moto to see if I could pay them to put a new battery in it.
They were willing to give me a refurb. For FREE. I was blown away.
Now I opted NOT to do this and started looking for a ROM that might work better for me, but they honestly did offer to replace my phone for free...
