Just an FYI and maybe this can become a battery life discussion.
Hopefully it's just user error. 2 days in a row now I pull my watch off the charger, and it is REALLY low. Yesterday 24%. This morning: 0%. The watch was off.
Now obviously last night when I put it on the charger I realize I must not have put it on correctly the night before. So I'm extra vigilant putting it on last night. And it's off.... hmmm.

Here's the thing I didn't really realize until today: holy cow, does this thing charge quickly! I set it on the charger, super cautiously, and 30 minutes later it's at 38%! That is MORE then enough to make it through the work day.

I didn't want to make our mega-G watch thread longer with a whole new-ish topic. ;)

Good call. I was thinking the same thing. Probably a good idea to separate discussions about the device a little now that we've got a group of users active, even if we don't have enough to warrant giving it its own sub-section.

I read somewhere that it only needs to charge for just over an hour to fully charge. Tiny battery, but it lasts a long time.

I've been alternating between shutting mine off and charging it overnight. I get more than 2 full workdays out of a charge, like you alluded to in the OP.

If I wear it the first day until bedtime and then shut it off, it gets down to the 15% battery warning by late evening the second day. I took it off a little early yesterday and am sitting at 63%, so it'll be just fine until bedtime tonight and will get a charge.

Fine today. =User Error.

Also, as an FYI, I left at home the other day off charger. So in other words it was JUST a watch. Used like 14% battery over 9 hours. So straight watch time is pretty crazy. :D Probably go 5 days?!?

That is really crazy. I would assume it's still broadcasting via bluetooth so the phone can find it unless it's in airplane mode, but I suppose if the screen isn't lighting up and it's not receiving any notification data from the phone that makes sense.

About the speed of charging, Mine was down to about 32% yesterday evening and we were gonna go out to supper. Tossed it on the charger while I showered and etc and its was above 50% by the time I strapped it back on. Down to 40 some by the time we got home and I went ahead and charged it last night for safety's sake.

Took my Fit off the charger Monday morning @~6am. It just vibrated letting me know it's down to 15%.
I don't know how fast mine charges because I put it on the charger at bed time or if earlier I don't pay it any mind . The initial charge when it was new took about 3 hours from empty.
Yes making sure the darn things are plugged in right, vs a regular plug like our phones, is a bit of a nuisance.

I put mine on the charger nightly whether it needs it or not. Just me?

I go back and forth. If there's enough juice left that I'm confident it'll make it through the next day just fine, I turn it off and then have to put it on the dock for a second in the morning to get it to turn back on.

Last night, I had over 50% and it would've made it through my work day (at least), but I went ahead and charged it.

I was doing that the first week or two, all night on the charger whether it needed it or not. Now, if it has more than 50% when I go to sleep (and most days it does) I leave it off the charger and throw it on in the morning for an hour or so while I get ready for work. That has been working good for a few days now so I will probably stick to that plan and if it's lower than 40 - 50% at bed time, I will charge it all night.

Love!
2 full days. Pretty heavy use, too.
-Screen: Always ON
-Used Theater Mode overnight

Now if I could just kill that Fit. DIE FIT DIE!

Amen brother! Fit drives me nuts. If it were accurate and I didn't like to use the heart rate monitor on S Health once in a while, I'd freeze S Health and use it. But, the watch registers hand movement too much when I'm at my desk.
