Beautiful Widgets Weather: I wish it were true

I use my zip code as default location, GPS is always on, using geolocation and mine works perfect. Only problem is mine is set to update every hour, so if I'm traveling, I almost always have the weather from where I was up to an hour ago ;-)

My droid works fine with the default weather app and the weather channel app. No matter WHAT I do, I cannot get the correct temperature and weather to work in BW. Must be a source problem. Please fix this quickly, we are paying customers!

My BW weather has been pulling bad info too. Its' always 68 and sunny even though my geolocation updates where i am ok.

weather stuck on 82° for about a week in 91701

I hate to bail on this widget as it's my favorite but all other weather sources on my device give me correct temp. Is there a solution forthcoming or is it time to bail?

Wow - don't mean to be rude, but does nobody read? Check post 137 from the developer. He's working on changing weather providers.

Please don't blame Tama for this problem. He had relied on Google's weather service for the application, but obviously, it's not reliable. He's working diligently on adding a different weather provider, but is having to re-code much of the process as the different provider has a different setup.

I know this is a paid app, but at only $3, it's not that expensive, and not the end of the world that it doesn't currently work. Tama has been very clear that he's working to fix the problem, and IMO we shouldn't expect any more than that.

I agree, but

Not all people belong to all the forums....levelupstudio have a web site listed on the app download...but no information other than the products they sell...why not leave some type of notification there as many like myself went there first.

Finally changed

Temperature finally changed from a (3 day) 64 to 88 degrees, but that hasn't changed in three hours.....how about just giving us the clocks?

How about report the problem to Google like I said about 20 posts back, and like it says in the market when you bought the app. When I reported to google that the forecast for my zip code was stuck, they fixed it in 4 hours. As to how the dev communicates, he says on the web page and on the market to follow his twitter feed for updates.

He also posted an update here today, so what are you complaining about? That he didn't answer the 6000th email about a problem he warned all users about before they bought the app?

Alan

@boomert, no, not yet. Soon. Google usually works, just gets stuck in some areas sometimes. Enough that he is changing providers, but not enough for many users to even notice. This thread is the vocal minority who see the issue, not the majority.
