Best Android Phone for the Fall?

Well one thing that is certain is you will have quite a few choices, since your upgrade doesn't come until September.

As others have mentioned, there are many phones coming out within a few weeks of your upgrade, my advice would be go check each and every one of them out and find out which best suits your needs.

One thing to keep in mind is that you'll have this phone for 2 years and 4G LTE will become the standard by then in most areas.

The standard by then? I seriously doubt I'll have 4g where I'm at. Att got 3g here just a few months ago...

If the D3 was 4g, i'd bet it would be considered the best phone currently available in the US, which brings us to the bionic...

My fiance is going to be switching to sprint soon, but she requires a slider. With the epic 4g announced to be disontinued, we are waiting to hear what sprints next big slider will be. She freaking loves my d3, but vzw made her mad with shoddy customer sevice, so she's leaving them as soon as sprint has something comparable to the d3.

ATT has terrible coverage. Verizon's pushing out 4G towers like no other company, i'd wager it will be standard within 2 years for 80% of it's users.

4g will take off when voice over lte is implemented into the phones. I have also heard that Verizon wants to do away with its older network as soon as possible.

Yea. And on ATT I dropped calls about 1/10th of the time. After 3 years on VZ, I have dropped maybe 2. At most.
