best android phone on verizon right now

I am looking for a phone comparable to the evo.

The Thunderbolt will be out on the 10th. It's an upgraded Evo for Verizon. HTC devices are not locked down like Motorola on their newer devices.

Personally, I'd root the OG Droid using the superoneclick method, then use RZRecovery to flash a stable ROM like PEv4.2, which has no bug's.

It will seem like a new phone!

I have the original droid. Want to ebay a newer phone. Is the droid inc comparable to the evo?

The only current phone comparable to an Evo from a *size* standpoint is the Droid X (at 4.3 inches), and it's also a very fast machine. The Dinc. is a fine phone, but aside from the AMOLED screen, my DX blows away my Dinc.
