Best Droid phone that is not Verizon?

I'm with you on that idea, Martin. I LOVE mobile technology and the DROID has been my second smartphone while an older Blackberry was my first. I will be down to 1 year in November/December and from how things look, I'll just be getting a one year. I love the keyboard and actuaslly switch back and forth between that and swype.

As for the whole ordeal with the bing bloatware, I believe you can still get google or use a custom rom to remove such thing. I honestly won't part with my DROID just yet and if I do, it'll be going to my girlfriend as I will be waiting for the DROID that will feature LTE and/or International capabilities.

I wish you luck but, don't just leave something just because of one simple change.

Hi all. I'm new here as you can tell by my post count. I had finally decided on the DX but I am now very disturbed by the thread in the news forum that Verizon may in the future restrict my usage of Google and its product. I simply cannot sign a 2 year agreement with a dark cloud such as this hanging over it. I now need help finding the best Droid phone that is not Verizon. I would be grateful for any and all input. Thanks in advance.

Well I don't think that Verizon, will do such things... there already going to put google back on the Fascinate, as for the next best all Google android device, I will say the T-Mobile G2 is going to take the crown.

Im sorry but the G2 right now is not going to take the crown especially with the lack of front face camera. SO right now the Epic 4g still carry the crown until the MYTOUCH 4g comes out which now have leak doc saying it will have dual core processor.

The one drawback of the Epic 2 is the lack of HDMI port. Not everyone needs or wants that but for those who do, they are out of luck.
