I dont get why you cant get FB notifications in your notifications panel..i think it is utter garbage!

Odd. I am getting bloo notifications in the notification panel... I don't believe I needed to change any settings either...

I am getting notifications too. Didnt set anything up just installed the app.

When someone does come out with a FB app that is comparable to the one from last years blackberry please post so I can snag it.

I did not like Bloo at all. I gave it a good try for a few days, but I hated the interface so I deleted..

I must be too used to the default facebook app so I hope they fix and make changes to it soon.

I actually received 2 different types of facebook notifications yesterday. One for a new friend request, and one for a new facebook message. You can adjust your facebook app settings to set the interval in which facebook searches for messages. They won't be instantaneous in your notification bar though.
