Best way to sync music to Droid (not double twist)

just downloaded songbird and it blows double twist away. i'd go with drag and drop but over time my music is all scattered around on my pc...so if i had to go looking for it, im afraid I'd punch a baby. of course if i could just use itunes i would but songbird seems to be the same so far.

yea drag and drop becomes a pain with huge libraries

If someone else tries this please share your thoughts on song bird I am interested what others think about it.
It looks good but I was concerned when I went to set up sync with a playlist I set up for the Droid and it said that it needed to wipe the playlists and songs on the device to sync. Back to iTunes Agent for now.

Yeah dragging and dropping has been my number one choice for sure. I'm not using my phone as my primary music device so I don't really need everything on there.
Interesting. I choose to sync precisely because I don't keep everything on my Droid. If I did I could just drag and drop the entire music folder. Syncing works better IMO with a select subset of music.

Hate to be the bird to blow the whistle on this one....well, I'm not really blowing a whistle. It's just that Double Twist works great with a Mac. YMMV

it initials clears the music if you have any on your device before it syncs with song bird so you really aren't loosing anything

Itunes Agent gets my vote, pretty simple to set up, and works almost flawlessly. It refuses to sync two songs, but they don't sync to my ipod either.

DT works fine for music on the MAC, it pretty much sucks for video which I am more concerned with, takes forever to convert then the video is out of sync.

Songbird is great! I almost want to use it as my primary music player but I need to keep two separate players to manage my lossless music directory and mp3 copies. So foobar2000 handles my main library and songbird is in charge of mp3 files and syncing with the droid

hmm I think SongBird didn't like that I used Media Monkey... My Media Monkey no longer works.. Hmm... So using SongBird now, how do I specify where I want the music to sync to? Right now its goin to .imusicdata. There is no where that I see to change that location. Any idears?

try deletign your music from that then make a music folder in your root directory and it should sync straight to that.

If I have all my songs are on iTunes, will songbird convert them to play on my Droid? Aren't songs on iTunes protected from being transfered to anything other than an iPod?
