[ROM] [BETA] CyanogenMod 7 for the Droid X

I've tried all the heptic feedback options and cant seem to fix my issue. Here is the issue I have, When I am on a phone call, if I move my phone a little it starts to vibrate due to the screen lighting up, it gets annoying as hell. If anybody knows what it is please let me know how to stop it please. I keep thinking I dropped the call or I'm getting an incoming message of some sort.

Other than that does anybody else have the issues of programs running in the back ground but not showing up under running services? These apps I have to manually force stop to save battery life cause after 7 hours of minimal use I am down to 20% battery life.

you shouldnt use advance task killer, it messes things up. dunno about your problem but advance task killer isnt good.

So if I am on liberty 0.8 how can i try cm7? do I need to sbf?

no, but it's recommended. read the first post. you can use monster zip if you really dont want to sbf

Bro you should SBF because I tried that and it just led to trouble. Stared messing up after a while.

i did the monster zip and had no problems.

How do you install the nightlies from rom manager? I tried downloading one and clockwork said it was bad when i installed from rom manager, and i can't find them anywhere in the download section of rom manager

open rom manager, click on flash clockworkmod recovery, choose droid x 2nd-init

Away man forgot about swype.. oh well do that in a minute... anyway. I read earlier something about 1% battery increments.... Just flashed #14 and mine is still showing 10's of percentages... is there a setting for that? Thanks!

So as of the latest nightly what all still needs to be fixed? Camera/camcorder, gps, etc?

As mentioned before there is a MMS and Camera fix that razorloves made and GPS has been fixed. So the only thing now is camcorder. :icon_ banana: dancedroid :)

Has a YouTube fix been made?

Mine works fine... Included in the camera fix... Also fixed quadrant as a byproduct

Funny - I installed the camera fix once before and just reinstalled - now YouTube is working fine. Thanks!
