Droid 2 Bootstrap

Silly question I suppose.. it says to use Droid 2 bootstrap.. Is that the same as the regular bootstrap. I've read where someone said no there is a difference but then where someone else said there is not. So do you have to use the D2 bootstrap for the cyanogenmod ROM like it is listed if putting this on a DX?

Do NOT put Droid 2 OR Droid X Bootstrap Recovery on CM7, it has this built in (access it by rebooting the phone with the power button and selecting "recovery") and installing either of those two will cause you to have to SBF. You would only use it if you are SBFing back to stock Froyo and need to reinstall recovery from that in order to install CM7. Once you are on CM7 do NOT install bootstrap recovery.

Once you are on cm7, DO NOT use either bootstrap. It interferes with 2nd-init.

If you are syncing multiple google accounts, make sure you only sync one with contacts. I found this out the same way.

Says "select an action for text" when I change my ringer volume using the volume buttons.

Also I can't change my input method. If I select that it says edit word? If I select edit word it takes me to input method but swype is missing... weird. Ill try installing the apk again
