Better map app? Google Maps sucks so bad...

Google Maps has done some weird things to me. But seems most of the time it's ok.
One time it wanted me to go WAY out into the country to go to the mall. It would have taken me by the Mall tho. It will direct you to turn off a major road to take a few turns to maybe save 2 feet in the route. That makes me nuts!!! Although, without that I would never have driven on a road named Neverland. But that's another story.

If your having GPS fix problems, download GPS Status from the market and follow the directions for calibration. It should get you closer to actual location and your fix should be much faster. It really helped my GPS out.

Yeah, I like it for the most part, and it's even pretty decent in rural areas (where I mainly live). It's just not 100% perfect, and no GPS really ever will be. It's good to know about the feedback, I'm sure that helps it stay closer to true.
