Bionic ICS Leak v 6.7.2233 (Android 4.0.4) [download link]

Don't take the chance. Keep your 905 back up. Once VZW releases the OTA ICS then go ahead and do the TIBU for ICS build.

Also if you use TIBU on GB do NOT restore apps & data on the ICS leak; just apps ONLY. Iv'e read that it will soft brick your phone. ICS & GB conflicts.......

Well, everyone has opinions on this, and it seems it is fashionable these days to bash TIBU BUT in my experience, I restored several of my apps & their data after installing the ICS leak and have not (yet) had a problem or soft-brick. But, again, YMMV

Cheers

Can you install 6.7.2233 on a stock, unmodified, rooted only OTA build of .902 -> .905 or do you need to take the path of FXZ to .902 then .905 OTA (seems redundant)?

As long as your current 905 build is the VZW OTA. The 905 leak will cause #7 errors on the ICS update. It might take a little more time but I would reccomend the full install of 902 FXZ; allow the OTA 905; then ICS build 2233. It's worth the extra 30 plus minutes; no brainer here. Just read some of the borked updates on other threads.

I backed up and reloaded from My Backup Pro without any issues except Rhapsody, and that problem was a device count issue (new phone according to then, makes sense actually). I've used all the app's I restored without issue...... Just saying.

Not sure this is the right place for this, but:
1) I did it, completely wrong mind you, but it seems to work with 1 exception so far. Without resetting to factory default, I downloaded Blur_Version.5.9.905.to6.7.2233.XT875.Verizon.en.US.zip, put it on the SD card, did a stock recovery with the file and it UPGRADED it. Nothing worked mind you, so then I did a factory reset and it seems to be fine.
Except Facebook doesn't work. I can't even add my facebook account to my gallery and the app just hangs at the splash screen.

2) Who do I talk to to host a mirror of the .zip file, I have a hosted godaddy account with tons of bandwidth I never use?

Thanks all,

Michael

Ok, just need to clarify, please don't bite my head off.

I am on .905 OTA, not the leak. The message came on my phone in the middle of the night & installed without a hitch about a week or so ago. I have root access, but didn't change any fonts/boot screens/etc, the OTA still went through as intended.

Here's my question; do I STILL have to FXZ to 902 & then re-download the OTA to do this? I have tried several times (using the stock recovery by powering on while holding the vol up/down buttons), but still getting a status 7 error. If I have to jump through all these hoops, I'll just wait. Seems a bit redundant. Not to mention I don't want to wipe my phone data in HOPES that it'll work the next time around.

Make a backup, use voodoo to temp unroot then delete all traces of bootstrapper. Then u can flasg ics then restore root with voodoo

Already made a backup, temp-unrooted, then cleared data & uninstalled Bionic Bootstrapper. Still getting Status 7. :frown:
