Bionic not compatible with Sonicwall GVPN Client

I got my Bionic back in November and ever since have never been able to connect to my corporate office Sonicwall firewall with the Sonicwall Global VPN Client and using the HotSpot. It fails at ISAKMP Phase 1 negotiation, just times out. Reading through a lot of posts, it looked like this had to do with Verizon's NAT'ed 4G network, etc. but it would also fail in 3G CDMA mode. So, I kinda gave up.

Then, a colleague gets the RAZR. I connect to its HotSpot and bingo it works! This was very curious.

So I called Motorola, and they say "this feature was introduced with the RAZR." I asked for some documentation about it, they didn't have any. I asked what the feature is called and they couldn't really give me an specific answer.

Has anyone else had the same experience and/or resolved it?

Thanks!
