Bionic or Galaxy S2

what all of this tells me is that: Targa is targeted for Q3 release, and will be LTE dual core. if so, i would guess that the Targa is going to be marketed/tagged as the competitor for the iP5, not the D3. and, there's still the possibility it could be an unlocked/Google experience phone. finally, there's another phone or two or three out there that we haven't heard about (Brachetto maybe??) that will be Moto's quad core phone. am i close???

Everyday I expect to see release dates for these phones, and everyday I am disappointed.:icon_evil:

given that Moto is yet to release the Bionic, and still has the X2 and D3 to release, i wouldn't expect a release date on the Targa until early to mid-summer.

Last I heard you can turn off TouchWiz on Galax S devices like you used to could do with HTC Sense. Does anyone know if this is still true? That would be pretty cool....great hardware with stock android.

i guess i should have been clearer: i don't think we will know of a release date until the summer. then, i would expect that the Targa will actually drop sometime in late Q3 or Q4...

Too bad its not on big red... some of us are limited due to service restrictions of other carriers...

If I had the option its not even a choice...

whats wrong with samsung

Yah but the only thing is is that it's made by samsung yuck!

samsung makes some great electronic devices. we all know the problems that the galaxy had gps ect since if i said i was sure id be hit with how are you sure. so ill say in my opionion i would bet that those problems have been worked out on the newer devices.

as for no updates i have read that the oversees versions all got updates so could this be a us carrier thing causes the updates not to appear. as well as verizons changing all the search capabilities which means the update to froyo would all have to be changed also which im sure samsung is not willing to do and most likely verizon doesnt care to do. the s-2 is coming with gingerbread so at least that wait wouldnt have to happen.

i only know people, away from here, that dont know much about this stuff and they all love their galaxy phones.

the whole point here is their are 5 great duocore devices on the horizon and the s-2 is the only one thats even hinted to come to verizon at all besides the bionic.

this would be more interesting if it was the s-2,g2x,evo3d competing but since we are talking verizon the s-2 is really the only choice we have, although that early termination fee is looking attractive.
