Blue Energy Theme for FROYO (Android 2.2)

If you open the Superuser permissions app, does it show SetCPU?

I don't honestly know, first time I've heard of someone losing root on an app unless you accidentally denied permission when it first started?!

It's weird, it was on the Superuser permissions app. Then after uninstalling and reinstalling, it doesn't show up there. Even after SetCPU is checking to request root. I just recently pulled the newest SetCPU (1.54 I hope) and no luck. I might have to uninstall the theme even though it is rather awesome. :-(

It's not the theme, I don't think so...that just happened to me, my root explorer wasn't getting permission...Before this happened I installed a glass version of Pandora from chevy's rom and that broke my 3g and the su for root explorer...i'm sure if you start fresh everything will be fine...

thanks, it was an Astro setting. Astro looks and acts different on Froyo. I lo your theme, my Droid has never looked or worked better!:motdroidvert:

Thanks, I'll reload the theme without the glass pandora. I didn't think of that at all. On a side note, I installed the glass pandora because installing the theme didn't include it so I thought I'd just install it myself. Apparently that was a bad idea.

Yup same thing here...I installed pandora separately and that's what happened...

I've noticed with Froyo it doesn't like things just pushed or copied into system/app like you could with 2.1, but when you install it as an update it works fine..weird

I have noticed though and I don't think it was like this before is that apps that you download get a -1, -2, -3 ending as they update, and other resources get put in data/data/

I dunno, someone will figure it all out, probably won't be me though, I'm too busy with other things. I'm never going to finish another color...ever..haha

Sorry, just checking again

What is the difference between 1.0.4 and 1.0.4.1?

Thanks

Something in framework-res or services.jar was different between the first leak and second leak. (don't know exactly what) So these theme updates have to push an entire framerwork-res.apk and services.jar so it replaced the new ones with the old ones (whatever changed)

I don't really know what exactly changed but MotoTorch and Droid Light didn't work on the first leak, but did on the second leak. So installing the theme broke it again..

I am sure other apps could be affected by it, but I don't know of any yet, and probably won't know since no one is using it anymore..haha

SO, that's all I can tell ya, the only thing I see that is affected is Droid Light and MotoTorch but it could be others, why chance it when something else important could have changed.

BTW, if you are still on 1.0.4 does Chrome-to-phone work? That might be another one.

Just installed 1.0.4.1

Mototorch works confirmed. THANKS!

Tested Chrome to phone an it also works!

MANY MANY THANKS!

Would this work

Copying the framework folder from your 1.0.4.1 nandroid>system.tar,
then pasting it into the nandroid>system.tar of a 1.0.4 backup I've made, then loading that backup. Would that give me the update and it would be just like i left that backup, ie homescreens still set up?

Just tell me if i'm way off.

Hmm I dunno. I never actually use SPRecovery other than when I was testing it for you guys..
