Blue Energy Theme for FROYO (Android 2.2)

oops I replied in the kousch area, liking this one too :)
cannot wait for it to hit the rom builders so stuff like spare parts can be tweaked for it.

Great job roberj13
Nandroid installed beautifully over Froyo, up and running all seems well.

Strange but the youtube widget is working for me...with your blue borders when pressed.

I did a full re install of Froyo this morning (this time with full adb wipe first) and all is great
Thanks!

Great to hear. Interesting about the YouTube widget as mine still doesn't work. I might have to ask you to send it to a fellow Red Sox fan so I can make it work for everyone else...haha

I'm a dummy, sorry upon futher investigation the big rectangle works to show the video on the widget but the search and video buttons on the widget don't work.

Was liking this theme until I installed the App pack went to reboot and now stuck on M. Battery pulled still stuck on M, tried an ADB reboot still stuck on M

Did you install the app pack with SPRecovery or ClockworkMod?

Installed with Clockwork

Odd, there is nothing in that update that touches anything in framework or anything, just four apps that go into /system/app.

Well you could restore your backup and try it again but I am putting together a Metamorph to replace the app pack anyways so people can choose what apps they want to theme and can reapply the themes when the apps update, so you could wait for that also. I haven't heard anybody else that have bootlooped from it though, could have been a bad download.

Do you have a version of metamorph that works on froyo? I have busybox installed but the market version of metamorph says it isn't. Excellent theme by the way, I'm still trying to get used to the battery icon.

O, that might ruin my plan. I haven't gotten tbhere ywt but I thought I saw for the users that were using titanium backup to install busybox that it was installing it into /system/bin and there needed a copy in /system/xbin and metmorph would work, let me look into it.

that's the way I installed it on mine but metamorph doesn't see it

Ok I got it to work. Titanium Backup puts busybox in /data/data/com.kermidas.TitaniumBackup/files/ so I copied it from there to /system/bin.

Worked like a charm once again bruther....

I wiped, installed all the required Froyo crap. Overclocked to 1200, stuck all your stuff in via ClockWork and VOILA!

Thanks bud.
How can I get the awesome battery life icon and phone pad you have in your screen shot? I installed the themed apps, but don't seem to have those. Are those something separate? Because they look really great. =-)

Well, you are in luck because I am putting together a metamorph that will allow to to do a couple different dialers and a couple different battery icons, along with theming apps so people don't have to install the app pack seperately.

Battery Status - Free from the Market (Cool, because you can choose different colors)

Phone dialer - Roberj skin for the dialer. It was included in the Blue Energy Theme for Bugless.

Okay thanks. I'll check out that app from the market. Unfortunately, the new version of the theme doesn't have the same keypad, as that one looks really great. =-( And I can't get Metamorph to work... Oh well. I'm happy with the goodies I have. =-)

Caldrumr why can't you get MM to work? If it's busybox then follow post #69 after you open Titanium Backup and click problems and install a new copy of BusyBox.
