Blue Energy Theme for FROYO (Android 2.2)

No..

Testing out CM6 right now. CM and Sapphire are different in that they put alot of goodies in framework, so making sure I know all the features so I know if they disappear with a theme..lol

Anyhow, probably won't be released until CM6 official is out. I don't want to have to redo the theme if they have to make any last minute changes to framework, hope you understand and thank you for looking.
 
Wanted to give you guys an idea on wth I've been working on to make me disappear for the past few days...

Let me know what you guys think. It's still quite a ways away from release, I have alot of menu icons and such to do and finalize some of the framework bits. What I am looking for was a look that could be stock on the phone. Stock but dark.

think i found the winner(again) lol. first started with NexTheme(great theme) but it was the only one i've ever used. then woke up today and looked up new themes. tried Indigo...didnt really do it for me. went to 928Droids Black Glass and i love that. then tried this one. damnit, i love this one too haha. think i'm gonna stick with this one.

also installed the different battery icon(whats up with the weird icon it came with?). also the HexDialer. i feel the only thing lacking from this is the dialer itself and contacts. the theme from Indigo looked nice, same with 928s.
 
one question...i finally figured out how to use ADB so i could remove some things i couldnt do before. only took a week to figure it out :lifting:

my question is after loading up this theme, i'm presented with the normal choose your launcher(if you run more than one)...I run launcherpro, so naturally i get 'Launcher' and 'Launcher Pro' listed. now there are 3. says ADW Launcher. okay, no biggy, i'll go uninstall it. WRONG!! shows it listed, but no uninstall option. downloaded uninstaller from market. still nothing. figured out ADB. successfully uninstalled many other things i dont ever use, but ADW still wont come off.

found this. org.adw.launcher-1.apk and Launcher2.apk(is this launcher pro?). no sign of Launcher Pro on there :confused: . so i ran adb. rm -r org.adw.launcher-1.apk and i get Read Only File System.

i'm stuck and want this off. i dont use it. cannot figure it out. been 3 hours and still nothing. any help would be great.

First, did you mount the system as rw in adb shell? Type su then enter then type sysrw then enter. Then try removing it. Launcher2.apk I believe is Helix Launcher. Launcherpro has fede.something.something in the apk filename.

If you use LauncherPro, longpress the icons add the shortcut and choose custom icon and select one from gallery. I think ADW works same way never used it. Don't know bout Helix either.

That's kind of weird as adw launcher isn't part of the theme. I never really use adb anymore so this is entirely off memory from the last time I used it but I think with froyo you would type into your command prompt

adb root
adb remount
adb shell
rm /system/app/org.adw.launcher-1.apk

I GOT IT!!! woot woot haha. could not get into it like this:
su
sysrw

i got sysrw not found
then tried:

adb root
adb remount
adb shell
rm /system/app/org.adw.launcher-1.apk

i got file wasnt found. this was on my laptop in ADB. tried Terminal and same exact thing. then by accident, while on Terminal, i mistyped and forget the "/" before system on the last line. and WALLAH!! it worked. still dont know if it wouldve worked in ADB or not, but its off now. unsure of how to go about it from Terminal, i just did same commands as I did previously on my laptop, i typed:

sync
reboot

rebooted and got my popup to choose which launcher and ADW was gone. thanks guys for your help, but still dont know why i am getting sysrw not found...and it might have came from a previous theme i installed. i tried Indigo and Black Glass right before
 
me again dancedroid . any chance there is a way to fix 3 things i've noticed? when i pull down my notifications, the clear buttons text is almost the same color as the button. any way to change that? also, in the notification bar itself...when i have my music player playing (TuneWiki) the play icon is black just like the bar itself. the last is kinda not a biggy, but figured i'd ask. i'm using launcher pro and in my dock(also the app drawer)...is there anyway to change one or two of the icons? the email icon is the plain original one and i got used to the one i had in Black Glass.
 
Is anyone else having issues with their widget closing randomly? It will only leave a window that says "problem loading widget"

Only time I've seen it is when it first installs it kills the eidgets and you have to remove them and remake the. The theme replaces the apk completely so it has to reload. Never seen it do it randomly otherwise.

^^ highly possible, since it's something that's used so often, move it to your phone. along with any widgets, otherwise they won't automatically draw when you boot up the phone. on that note, any apps installed on your SD card where you have icons on the homescreens won't show up properly when you first boot up unless you restart LauncherPro.
