Bluetooth Not Connecting To My New S4

I don't think it is an S4 problem. I have a 2008 Ford Edge and it connects automatically with the sync system when I start the car and Bluetooth was already on on my phone. Now if the car is running and I turn on Bluetooth then I have to manually select sync to connect.

Yeah its weird usually with my iPhone & s3 it'd just connect when close or in the car, with the s4 I have to turn BT off & on then click connect as they've already been paired. It's not a huge problem just a pain in the ass having to do this almost every time, I'll figure it out if not guess I'll live with it!
