Bluetooth Tethering Problem

Ok so I bought a netbook for portability, and I want to use bluetooth tethering for its power efficiency and when I first bought the dongle for my computer it worked when I used wifi tether. All of a sudden it decided that windows 7 starter doesn't want to give me the option to connect to my droid through bluetooth. I've tried unpairing and repairing and uninstalling my dongle and redoing the drivers and it still doesn't work. If anyone has a suggestion it would be greatly appreciated. I'm rooted and on 2.1 bugless beast by pete. My dongle is Bluetooth 2.1 USB Micro Adapter by IOGear.

nvm i figured out my problem. im assuming that android 2.1 doesnt officially support bluetooth tethering until an application enables it, so my computer didnt know it was possible until the PAN Profile was up and running. you can delete this thread or archive it for others who may run into the same problem.
