There have been many threads on the inability to initiate voice dialing with a bluetooth headset. Here are the conclusions I've reached from reading them. If anyone can definitively confirm or deny them, I'd be grateful.
1) The official 2.1 update, when released, will not enable initiating voice dialing from bluetooth
2) No solution exist through rooting which will enable initiating voice dialing from bluetooth
There are also many threads on workarounds involving a single touch of the android screen or the camera phone button. I'm just looking for definitive confirmation of my two statements above. Thanks!
