bookmark an audio book?

I have a number of audio books that are just one long mp3 file. I have tried the included media player and mixzing to play them on my droid but can't find any way to bookmark my stopping point so that I can go back to that point the next time I have time to listen. Currently I just leave mixzing running with it paused but then I can't listen to anything else until the book is finished or I have to go searching through a 6 hour mp3 to find where I stopped last.

What are some good solutions for this problem?
