whoops I got you guys confused sorry. Wugfresh have a droid x. Droid x drivers will not work for droid 2.

Ive never had this bricked at the boot logo usually it says theres a problem with the boot loader, at what point do I Need to run the RSD andd flash it. I usually did it at the error but now It just gets stuck and when I tried previously Id click start and nothing would happen and it couldnt show my device

thats what ive been trying but my computer won't pick it up, I've done that before, I have the motorola drivers, I'm running the SDK, Im trying pretty much everything that Ive done thats worked in the past

I have a droid 2 personally and I have everything set up. The mydroidworld site download and install everything they tell you to install and follow my steps. I used it personally. The droid2 and droid x are similar but uses different drivers and that is why it is not recognizing your phone.

Yes they will, they are for all android devices on Motorola.

Nevermind! I didn't know I need to enter the bootloader, I knew I did when I got stuck at the bootloader, but now rsdlite is doing its job! Thanks, I can take it from here!

at first I thought this was gonna be worse than the time when I got stuck in the boot animation loop, fixed it, took about 3 hours for me to figure it out, root, install the rom, and freak out again only to find out I accidently installed a rom for the droid X instead of the droid 2 rofl!

Even though your phone is fixed now is a good time to make sure you have rsdlite set up correctly and it reads your phone. Dont wait until the last moment and then try to figure it out. Its simple and all the drivers and files you need are on MYdroidworld that p3 put out. Those are all official from motorola and the same that they use to flash your phone if you take it back to them.
