Bricked Phone...Please Help!!

I'm so sorry. Would you like me to take your computer out back and put it out of your misery? :D

Okay, try different USB ports till you've tried all of them. Next up is cleaning out the drivers, installing new ones, uninstalling and reinstalling RSD Lite, and throwing in a reboot or two.

And after all that, another yank on the battery and reboot on the phone again wouldn't be amiss. Next will be hacking up a USB cable.

Thanks for all your help. I'm gonna let it stay plugged in overnight since nothing else is working.

I'm guessing since I can't get it to show up in RSD Lite they won't either?

That's why I'm suggesting everything else. If they can get it to show they might try to reprogram it... But when it comes right down to it I'm not worried about the folks at the store when trying to return a rooted phone -- I'm worried about the techs back at Motorola.

If the light isn't coming on and staying on when it's plugged in then it's not charging, so there's not much point in leaving it plugged in, I'm afraid.

The light stays on when its in the computer.

Okay, then let it sit on the PC for a while. Normally when the battery is badly discharge it'll only work if you have it hooked to the wall charger but NOT on the PC. :)

Overnight should charge it. If it's still showing white in the morning then, well, you have big problems. But that's why its' going back to Verizon, right? :)
