Bricked phone? would this be possible?

I really don't want to brick my phone to be able to try this, but would it be possible to rename the fission rom to update.zip, put it in the sd card and intall it through stock recovery?

Yes. If you are stuck at M logo, phone cannot reach the moment where CW recovery hijacks the boot process and load the custom reocovery (which does not check signatures)

I've read that sometimes you can force boot cw by removing the battery at boot and putting it back in right away...

why dont you claim warranty on bricked d2g? the phones been out less than 6 months your 1 year warranty should still be valid?
Why?? Because that's called fraud. Its not a manufacturers defect. Why should you get a free reeplacement for something you did??

Sent from somewhere...

I'm sure you've tried the other methods of turning phone off and plugging it in and trying to get into recovery from there then...
