Bricked phone? would this be possible?

People here have posted that they brought their bricked phones to Verizon store to have the phones replaced free of charge with the sales associates knowing the phone was rootwd

Seeing as rooting voids warranty, you shouldn't be able to get a warranty replacement. It sucks but if a phone gets bricked because of user error while performing root operations the company shouldn't have to eat the cost.
